Quick Update

It’s officially December, which means that NaNoWriMo22 has come to an end. I still have a lot to do for this novel, however it’s been so much fun to write, edit and develop the world of this story. I also got a lot of work done on the next books in The Vermin Series, and am preparing lots of fun content for that.

On Friday we wrapped up recording the newest season of Matchbox, which was fantastic! I can’t wait to see it fully animated in the new year. I have a lot of fun imagining what each scene will look like, and it was so much fun recording in studio with my co-star Julian this season. He’s a fantastic actor, and I can’t wait for you all to hear him as Kayla’s little brother Mason James. I’ll be sure to share the episodes when they come out.

Speaking of shows, on Thursday night I attended the premiere of Stay Tooned hosted by Eric Bauza aka the voice of Bugs Bunny. I love cartoons, and I love documentaries and film studies so this show was right up my alley. The premiere was so much fun, and nostalgic. I felt like a kid again seeing clips from the shows I grew up watching. When I got to thinking about it afterwards, a lot of these cartoons helped shape me, and inspired me to to do what I’m doing today. Stay Tooned is fun, informative and it is so clear that everyone who worked on the show put lots of love into it. It’s available to stream on CBC Gem.

I also released some new music, and have more coming very soon. My most recent releases are all songs my niece asked me to release, and the future ones are based on my favourite game, and stories I’ve written with my niece and sister. Hope you’ll check them out!

Introducing Polly Pocket Fab Lab!

I’m super excited about this new series! Peaches the dog is adorable, I actually used to have a Polly Pocket dog that looked just like her when I was little. I still have the majority of my Polly Pocket’s, and am a huge fan so being apart of this series and getting to work with Mattel on this show has been so much fun!

This is the first episode for the new series, and there’s more fun-sized adventures to come!

You’ll most likely see a familiar face in a very fun upcoming episode. Hehehe…

Matchbox World Tour Episode 1

It’s finally here!

I had so much fun watching this. It’s so cool seeing the episode, after imagining it in my head while recording the lines for Kayla and Emerson Felix. Seeing the teams vision come to life, and getting the opportunity to be apart of it is so cool.

I love the music, the transitions between reality and the kids imaginations. It seriously captures what it’s like to play, and how your imagination really does open up these fantastic worlds full of adventure.

I loved reading the map clues in each episode, that was always super fun. I learned some really neat new facts about places around the world! It was nice, pretending to travel all over as Kayla while recording from home.

I can’t wait to watch the next episode, and I hope everyone enjoys the show as much as I do.

Meet MARGOT

I’m so excited that I finally get to share one of the projects I was working on! I play Margot on Mattel’s Polly & Friends!

This series was so much fun to record. I loved getting to talk to them team about Margot, and going over her lines. Seeing her in action is awesome, and her HAIR! They told me she had cool hair while I was recording, but oh my gosh…it’s adorable!

I saw the Polly Pocket doll of her on the weekend too! She’s so cute! I absolutely adore her!
