Today my Dad and I made butter tarts. It was our first time making the pastry, so we were a bit nervous but they turned out great!
We used out Nana’s recipe for the filling. Now I know some people are very strict on putting raisins in their butter tarts, but unfortunately, I’m the only raisin lover in my house so we made them without. They’re still pretty fantastic.
I don’t usually take pictures of food but I snapped a shot of one before I did my taste test and I’m glad I did because I gobbled it up pretty fast!
